“Toucan” Woven Tapestry by In The Ply

Hello! I am a handwoven tapestry named “Toucan” (if you look closely, you can see them in my fringe) and I was born in 2019. I weigh in at a cute but hearty 18cm wide x 66cm long. I am the offspring of denim, wool roving, recycled textile, corriedale wool, and original In The Ply handspun yarn.

I am particular to the uneven fringe, the pop of handspun colour out the left side, and the slightly unfinished look that makes this tapestry so unique.

My tapestries are one of a kind and woven on my own handcrafted, maple looms (also for sale in my Etsy shop) in my home in Ottawa.
